Well, why not? With all these thoughts in my head, I might as well create an outlet that can help me ease my mind while at the same time serve as a way to stay in touch with friends and family. Genious! I haven't really thought about what direction I want to take this, but I'll figure it out as I go.
So why did I choose to name my blog "Alienated"? Well, to make a long story short... I'm a Norwegian immigrating to the US, and - more often than not - I feel alienated... strange in a strange country. Every day brings with it small cross-cultural encounters, mostly funny ones, but some challenging as well. It can be frustrating at times. But hey, at least I get to see for myself what "The American Dream" is all about!! :P
